The admissions office looks the most at your 5 extracurricular mini essays. I got in with a 3.6 and an SAT of 2170 but many people with 1800's get in. Honestly, this isn't just a Stanford-caliber school that's easier to get into, this is a relatively easy school to get into with Stanford-caliber departments that need the same quality of students.

Step 3, complain to you parents if you don't like you grade.
step 4, act like an asshole, so everyone thinks your management material.
Step 5, accept your place in the igeneration.

I kept straight A's in high school, got very high standardized test scores, and was active in many different academic honor societies and community service/leadership organizations. I was active in the Scouting program and did approximately 20 hours a week of volunteer work for various charities and my church throughout high school.

Though I was involved in many extracurricular activities, it seems like UW cares more about numbers than the student as a whole, so make sure your test scores and grades are as high as possible. Minority status definitely boosts admission potential as well.

I was in multiple extra-curriculars. I had fairly decent grades and great test scores.
